Gem Show and Sale
As a wrap up to the student exhibition we are delighted to invite you for a gem show and sale at Jewel Envy on Sunday February 27th, 2011 from 1pm-4pm. We are excited to have Boris Kolodny of Artistic Jewelry Design bring a selection of his hand cut gemstones. If you have ever wanted to learn more about gemstones or see some unusual specimens be sure to come out for this event.
If you happen to fall in love with a stone we can help you make it into a finished piece of jewellery. You can sign up for a gem setting class and make your own, or work with one of our onsite goldsmiths to design a beautiful custom piece around the gemstone. If you just want the stone and have no idea what you will do with it that is ok to as we know some things are just to beautiful to let slip away!
Please join us on Friday February 4th from 5pm-9pm for the opening reception of our first student exhibition. This show will highlight the work of our talented students from a variety of courses and levels. The show will be on display from February 4th, 2011- February 28th, 2011.
We would like to thank Magnotta Winery for their generous support of this exciting event.
Remember to vote on your favorite piece in the show. You can vote throughout the month of February in person at Jewel Envy or go to our blog page http://jewelenvy.blogspot.com/p/vote-on-your-favorite-piece-in-student.html and email us your vote.
